Randy Marcus joined CSX in 2015 as Resident Vice President – Virginia, serving as CSX’s lead government relations and public affairs executive in the Commonwealth. During his tenure at CSX, Randy has led the company’s engagement in the Long Bridge Expansion Project, the Atlantic Gateway Project and the DC2RVA High-Speed Rail Study, while representing the railroad before the General Assembly, state agencies, local governments and business and community groups across Virginia.
Previously, Randy worked 10 years in state government in various positions including as Senior Policy Advisor to Governor Terry McAuliffe’s, a senior member of Governor Bob McDonnell’s economic development team and Chief of Staff to Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling. Randy has served on the Radford University Board of Visitors since 2013, including a term as Vice-Rector.
