This annual event welcomes and honors local individuals who have moved into leadership positions in the past year.

The summit, held at the Ted Constant Convocation Center was an effort to inspire and activate the next generation of civic leaders in the Hampton Roads region.

His remarks covered three key areas: the Hampton Roads naval impact, concerns about the Navys operational future, and recent naval engagements.

In Hampton Roads, the disaster declaration covers the cities of Chesapeake, Newport News, Norfolk and Virginia Beach which are eligible for both Physical Disaster and Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the SBA.
