Under the contract, which is valued at up to $64 million, the company will rely on two equipment vendors to supply Air Force firefighters, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve installations with protective firefighting gear.

Ricochet Manufacturing Co., a Philadelphia-based small business, will supply structural and proximity-protective firefighting clothing. Honeywell First Responder Products of Dayton, Ohio, will supply leather firefighting boots. 

In an announcement this week, ADS said it is working to expand its gear and equipment offerings in the fire, emergency services and first responder markets.
