Join us as we celebrate 40 years of Operation Smile and our continuing connection with our local and global community!

On Saturday, November 12th from 10 AM-2 PM Operation Smile will be hosting Community Connect Day at The Anthony L. & Hideko S. Burgess Interactive Learning Center (ILC), located at 3641 Faculty Blvd. in Virginia Beach.

Join us for Community Connect Day and connect with partners from our local and global community. We will be celebrating Filipino American History Month and highlighting our 40-year relationship with the Philippines, the home of our first medical program.

We will share on-the-ground footage of our women’s led medical program happening in Cebu, Philippines and participate in service projects for Virginia Beach sister city, Olongapo!

Community Connect Day will see the debut of a brand-new exhibit celebrating 40 years of operation smile, featuring stories, quotes, and mementos from the past 40 years. We are excited to have members of our community join us as we travel down memory lane and look to the future and our continuing connection with our local community here in Hampton roads, and our global community around the world.
