Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce Strategic Partner, Clark Nexsen, a virginia Beach-based architecture and engineering firm Clark Nexsen's has announced a leadership change. The Clark Nexsen board of directors named new executive leadership recently, including Terri Hall as president.
Hall is the firm's first female executive leader in its 96-year history, the company said. She was also the firm's first female board member in 2012.
She is responsible for operations across the firm and providing executive leadership and strategic guidance, according to a news release. Hall managed rapid growth in the Raleigh, N.C., office as a founding member of that location.
Tom Winborne, with 40 years at Clark Nexsen, has been named chairman emeritus and will work with the newly elected executive officers to assist with the leadership transition, according to a news release. Winborne has been integral in the firm’s growth from 35 architects and engineers to more than 400 employees, and in establishing key areas of market leadership.
He was named the firm’s chief operating officer in 2008 and the CEO in 2010. Winborne advocates for regionalism for Hampton Roads as a member of multiple boards, including TowneBank Chesapeake, Greater Norfolk Corp., Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and the Old Dominion University Educational Foundation.
