Troy University to host College Affordability Day on November 17
Troy University’s Hampton Roads location will host College Affordability Day on Thursday, Nov. 17, to help prospective students learn more about scholarships, financial aid and other ways to make college more affordable.
During the event, expert advisers will be on hand to help prospective students better understand resources for affording college, federal financial aid, the value of a college degree and more.
The event at the Hampton Roads site, located at 100 Volvo Pkwy, Ste 300, in Chesapeake, VA, will run from 9am to 4pm and include light refreshments and TROY giveaways.
Application fees will be waived for those who apply for admission to TROY during a College Affordability Day event at a location or online on Nov. 17.
According to Roger Smith, Area Coordinator, “As a state school, TROY tuition is already very affordable. Still, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to help our students earn their degrees and meet their goals without overwhelming debt.”
TROY’s College Affordability Day features activities at main campus in Troy, AL, 3 additional campuses in Alabama, and 17 other locations around the US.
