Don’t Forget to Vote on Tuesday, November 2
The most often heard justification of why people choose not to vote in an election is “my vote will not make a difference”. With so much at stake, the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce would like to encourage members to urge employees, co-workers, friends, and relatives to vote on Tuesday, November 2. No matter who you are or where you live, the upcoming election will in some way affect you and the things that you believe in.
Voting is essential to the legislative process and it is one of the most important rights and responsibilities that we have as citizens of America. Exercising your right to vote enables you to help elect public leaders that reflect your views and leaders that will speak for you in government.
The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce serves as a leader and collaborator throughout the region, and advocates for a variety of issues affecting our members and the community. To that end, we encourage you to do your part and vote in the upcoming election.
