The Chamber’s annual “Mingle on Main Street” event, which was held on May 30 at the Outdoor Pavilion of the Historic Suffolk Visitors Center, attracted over 200 attendees. Local business professionals networked under the fabulous, covered outdoor venue and enjoyed wine and cheese provided by Farm Fresh.
Nearly 40 exhibitors, including both large and small for-profit businesses and nonprofits, demonstrated their goods and services. Presenting for Remedy Intelligent Staffing was Shira Low Itzhak, who said that the company wanted to show support for its clients in Suffolk. “We want to thank them for giving people the opportunity to work here in Suffolk,” she said. “There’s been nice growth in Suffolk.” Amanda Elliott of the Chief Petty Officer Scholarship Fund said that she came to the Mingle to build awareness of the organization. “We’re trying to get the word out to the public about what we do,” she said.
Also at the event were the talented Peanut City Cloggers, who performed traditional folk routines throughout the evening.
