The Hampton Roads Chamber is hitting the road again.
The chamber plans to visit Pittsburgh from June 19 to 21 to see and learn how the Steel City does economic, workforce and infrastructure development.
Participants will hear from leaders in the transit, airport, health care, education, entrepreneurial and development sectors. Guided tours of the city’s Carnegie Science Center, a business incubator and redeveloped neighborhoods are also planned.
Pittsburgh emerged from a deep recession in the 1980s. In an announcement, the chamber said the city today is an example of regional cooperation and economic success. Read more.
