What are your business's core values, goals, and overall mission?
Our goal is to provide the best care, treatment and education to our patients for their vein health care.
Share some unique facts and business history? What makes your business stand out?
Circulatory Centers group was founded in 1979 by Williams G. Katz, M.D., F.A.C.S, although the roots of the practice go back to the 1960's. Our board-certified physicians are considered experts in the field of vein care with multiple years of experience and training, including continuing education with The American College of Phlebology, the foremost authority on vein care. We offer state-of-the-art technology and treatment techniques in vein care to better identify and treat venous disease.
What products or services do you offer companies or individuals?
We offer multiple options in the treatment of venous disease like compression stockings, sclerotherapy, EVLA (Endvenous Laser Ablation) and RFA (Radiofrequency Ablation) that result in pain relief and improved circulatory health. We also provide patients with their own patient services specialist to help them through the insurance/billing process. We have a nurse on call 24/7 to discuss concerns or problems after treatments.
What are the greatest obstacles and/or challenges that your business has faced? How have you and your business overcome them?
Patient education about Venous disease seems to be a great challenge. Approximately 40 million Americans have varicose or spider veins but many believe it is a cosmetic condition that they have to live with as part of "getting older". Although heredity is the leading cause of varicose veins, certain lifestyle factors can promote varicose and spider veins. We believe patient education is key. We inform our patients of symptoms to look for, offer easy and pain-free diagnostic testing and treatments if need be. Our field representatives are out there every day talking to people about venous disease and what options are available.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
With over 35 years experience in treating varicose and spider veins, we have many success stories that we are proud of. Seeing our patients pain-free and able to resume their active daily lives are the best accomplishments we can ask for.
What do you see for the future of your business?
With the aging population, we see growth in the business. However, this population has something that wasn't available to our parents or grandparents, better and more advanced treatments for vein care, and information about that vein care at their fingertips. Patients are more informed now which aids in understanding and treatment of
venous disease. Circulatory Centers will remain on the forefront of advances in vein health.
