Patient First now provides simple, streamlined employee Return-To-Work COVID-19 testing at designated medical centers. Employees can be tested as required by their employer with the visit charged directly to the employer’s account.
Testing is available by appointment 7 days a week at the following conveniently located Hampton Road centers:
Patient First – Hampton 2304 W. Mercury Blvd 757-951-1579
Patient First – Battlefield 705 N Battlefield Blvd 757-547-0688
Patient First- General Booth 1605 General Booth Blvd 757-721-0512
Patient First- Indian River 5486 Indian River Rd 757- 424-2490
Test samples are collected outside of the center by a trained medical professional. Patients may remain in their vehicles through the entire process. The staff member collecting samples is equipped with proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including an N95 mask, gloves, eye protection, and gown.
Test results are promptly communicated to the employee and employer upon receipt from the outside lab, usually in 2-5 days.
Patient First also offers other turnkey solutions to help employees return to work safely, such as temperature checks to detect fever and advanced employee examinations and physicals that may include a COVID-19 test, as appropriate.
