Old Dominion University will host its annual Advanced Manufacturing event on September 19th as a prelude to National Manufacturing Day, (October 5th). The Hampton Roads Advanced Manufacturing Summit (Wednesday, September 19th, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm) is where University, community college, industry professionals and local economic development officials connect to provide the most useful and current manufacturing technology information available.
Every session and interactive discussion will consist of a panel of engineering faculty and their industry counterparts who will address a wide array of industry specific topics. The summit will also lead discussions on industry and university collaboration and future educational needs of the workforce.
