NORFOLK, VA – Make the Virginia Zoo your live music destination this summer for its Zoo Grooves concert series. Dance the night away at these family-friendly events, plus enjoy exclusive after-hours access to the Zoo. Asia – Trail of the Tiger, the ZooFarm and the new World of Reptiles and Friends will all be open until 7 pm. Local craft beers and summer fare will be available for purchase. The Zoo Train will also be operating with $2 rides.
July 13: The Rhondels play oldies beach music from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
August 3: The Deloreans play party tunes from the 1980s.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Gates open at 5:30 pm with performances beginning at 6 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance at virginiazoo.org/events. Cost is $4 for members and $10 for non-members. Ample parking is available.
