Local GEICO & United Way employees, United for Children volunteers, and the popular GEICO gecko helped hand out the books during a special presentation to the awe-struck pre-kindergarten to second-grade students. The books were donated to help them with their STEM studies. United Way of South Hampton Roads used a $5,000 donation from GEICO to purchase the books.
