The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training provides workers and first-line supervisors training in the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards that they might encounter in the workplace.
During the two-day OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training, students learn about:
► Introduction to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, including workers’ rights and employer responsibilities.
► Walking and Working Surfaces, including slips trips, and falls prevention.
► Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, and Fire Protection.
► Electrical Safety.
► Personal Protective Equipment.
► Hazard Communication.
► Fall Protection.
► Permit Required Confined Spaces.
► Bloodborne Pathogens.
► Safety and Health Program.
Commonwealth Safety Solutions, LLC is an OSHA Authorized Trainer. We present highly interactive OSHA 10-hour General Industry Training. Students gain experience identifying workplace hazards, applying safety principles to workplace concerns, and learning how to select and use workplace safety equipment in a classroom setting. This engaging and interactive learning experience employs adult learning best practices to help students apply knowledge gained in the course later back in their workplaces.
Students receive a copy of the Introduction to OSHA Student Handout Packet, prepared by the OSHA Training Institute. On completing the class, each student receives a training certificate from Commonwealth Safety Solutions, LLC. OSHA issues a course completion card to each student after the class.
