Arts for Learning, the Virginia Affiliate of Young Audiences
CEO since 13 February 2017.
Chris took an unusual path to becoming part of Arts for Learning. Upon retiring from Bank of America after 30 years, where she held many executive positions in the areas of credit and operational risk, she was looking for an opportunity to use her business acumen to help an organization that would bring joy to her and others every day. When she read the mission of Arts for Learning, she knew she had found the work where she belonged as it addressed two of her passions, helping children, especially those disabled or disadvantaged, and the arts.
For her “Second Act,” Chris is pleased to lead the team at Arts for Learning. She enjoys living at the Virginia Beach oceanfront with her husband. She is the proud mother of two grown children. She takes delight in appreciating the arts while traveling. She earned her BBA and MBA from Temple University in her hometown of Philadelphia.
