The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance collectively representing nearly 2,600 businesses are dedicated to serving members and communities by advocating and supporting the business interests of the region. The Chamber's Legislative Priorities were developed and approved by the Chamber’s Board of Directors in efforts to focus policy makers' attention on the business challenges facing our region and to offer recommendations and solutions to those critical issues.
Each year, the Chambers research and identify business issues prior to the start of the General Assembly session that addresses our key policy goals for the year. The General Assembly will convene January 11, 2012.
