Plasser American Corporation donated $1000 as well as $250 in gift cards for McDonald’s restaurants and $250 worth of goodies and other items for students in each of three Title 1 Schools in Chesapeake to commence a program called “On the Right Track.” The goal of the project is to support the students’ academic and behavioral performance during the school year.
Plasser American, based in South Norfolk in Chesapeake, builds Maintenance of Way equipment to maintain railroad tracks nationwide. As Plasser American is commemorating its 60th anniversary in the United States for being on the right track in the rail industry, it is important that students must start on the right track for academic success.
