The Small Business Development Center of Hampton Roads and the City of Virginia Beach will offer a free training series to learn best practices for bidding on municipal construction contracts. Participants will learn how to develop a bid strategy, ensure bid compliance, meet the procurement staff, and learn from the experts with one-on-one counseling. This will take place on September 25, October 2 and October 9 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Department of Economic Development building located at 4525 Main Street, Suite 700, in Virginia Beach. Reservations should be made for all three sessions by September 22 at www.hrsbdc.org.
