As we are all facing new challenges, we’ve asked Hampton Roads Chamber members to share ways they are developing business during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Here are some encouraging words from Dr. Bobbi-Hansel Union CEO/Owner of Hansel Union Consulting, PLLC.
"My company has been offering therapeutic consultative services under the Intellectual Disability/Developmental Delay - Federal/State Waiver programs for ten years. We provide behavioral (PBSF), recreational, occupational, and speech therapy services in the Tidewater, Northern Neck - Middle Peninsula, and Western Tidewater area for individuals of all ages and caregiver training for people with disabilities.
On March 17th, President Trump Expanded Telehealth Benefits for Medicare Beneficiaries during the COVID-19 Outbreak, which allowed my business to continue to serve our clients. Our clients do not have to come into our office, nor do the therapists need to make home visits. We are operating at full capacity and actively recruiting occupational, speech, recreational, and behavioral therapists. I have to admit it was a sharp learning curve, but we are doing well.”
