Photos from the 2020 Small Business of the Year on July 16, 2020

This signature event recognizes one outstanding business from each of the five Southside Hampton Roads cities, one outstanding business from the Peninsula, and one outstanding business from Western Hampton Roads. From those seven, one overall winner will be chosen and announced on May 2nd as the 2019 Hampton Roads Small Business of the Year Award Winner. This special company will go on to represent Hampton Roads in the national business competition. Additionally, the Leadership Award, Entrepreneur Award, and Top to Watch Award recipients will be honored at the awards ceremony. The Leadership Award is presented to an individual demonstrating leadership, impact on workplace culture, community service and involvement, professional achievement, and perseverance. The Entrepreneur Award recognizes a standout entrepreneur in the region who has taken the risk of starting and running their own business in Hampton Roads. The Top to Watch Award is presented to outstanding young businesses who has been in operation for less than three years

Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce held its third annual Spring B2B Expo in Chesapeake. This annual event is to promote local businesses and encourage corporate networking. Local companies will be able to showcase their products and services to the business community. Open to the public, this event keeps participants on the competitive edge with networking, idea sharing, product introduction and service solutions attracting executives at every level.
